NEW ORLEANS - Ruling in a racially explosive case that some forensic experts have described as police torture, a grand jury in the small Louisiana town of Winnfield indicted a white police officer Wednesday on charges of manslaughter and official malfeasance for repeatedly shocking a handcuffed black suspect with a Taser device, resulting in the man's death due to cardiac arrest.

BERWYN HEIGHTS, Md. — A SWAT team raided the home of a Washington, D.C.-area mayor, killing his two black Labrador retrievers and seizing an unopened package of marijuana delivered there.

Prince George's County Police said Berwyn Heights Mayor Cheye Calvo brought a 32-pound package of marijuana into his home that had been delivered by officers posing as delivery men. The Tuesday evening raid was conducted by county police narcotics officers and a sheriff's office SWAT Team.

Members of a group called We Are Change had video footage seized after a scuffle at the National Rifle Association meeting Sunday.

Four members of the group, all of whom had media credentials, were asked to leave the Kentucky Exposition Center after asking Oliver North questions after his presentation.

Cody Deitz, a member of the group, said he was ordered to turn over memory cards from the equipment they were using or risk being arrested.

Turns out the assistant editor of the Courier-Journal "Jessie Halladay" was able to get the names of those involved and find out where our stuff is. Hopefully the footage is intact and the world will get to see what happened...

On Sunday, May 18th, members of We Are Change were assaulted and interrogated on the property of the Louisville Exposition Center while covering the NRA national
convention. Sam Logulo was grabbed and driven to the floor, and Cody Deeds was pushed down to his knees outside.

Officer Phil Russell, Public Information Officer of the Louisville Metro Police Department stated in an email that there was "no involvement in that incident by Louisville Metro Police Department officers. It is our understanding that the incident in question involved security officers from a different organization not affiliated with the Louisville Metro Police Department."

However,the members of We Are Change stated that officers of the Louisville Metro Police Department were involved in the incident. Furthermore, a document banning the Change members from the Louisville Exposition property was signed by Sgt. John Nisse and Col. R. K. Meade.

In addition to the assault, several pieces of equipment were seized by the police. Four memory cards, two battery packs, two camera batteries, and a disc were taken.

The reason that the citizen journalists traveled to Louisville was to discuss the Continuity of Government mechanisms with Oliver North and the We Are Change members have indicated that retrieving the video of North is of the utmost importance.

Cody Deeds of Change Ohio summed up the situation, "All I want is the footage."
