50 Million Spent to Silence Free Speech at RNC
The Annual Budget of the St. Paul's police department is 70 Million Dollars with a police force of around 600 sworn officers. They estimated it would take 3,400 to provide security for the Repubican Convention and with overtime and supplies this would cost 34 Million. They were then showered with a 50 Million Dollar federal grant. This includes 1.9 Million for chemical irritant or Pepper Spray.
This next admission came from the St. Paul Police Dept. Media contact Tom Walsh
I went on to ask Walsh about a pair of budget allocations that struck me as redundant. There were identical $750,000 line items for "SPPD/Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office" and "Minneapolis Police Department/Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office" in addition to the seemingly encompassing budget lines for SPPD personnel costs and for "Police Officers - Other Jurisdictions."
When I asked why, Walsh had this to say: "Keep in mind that this budget was redacted by the DoJ, so there are some things that are not [on it]. First of all, I don’t know everything that was in play, but the things that are redacted were redacted by the DoJ for a reason. We’re not going to talk about them." It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what is going on. A private army to squash free speech has been created here along with black budget line items. This is a POLICE STATE
